Synopsis
This book is a personal attempt to make sense of the coexistence of beauty and violence. The subtle images of nature—quiet, fragile moments—are taken by the artist. The archival images, sourced from the New York Public Library’s Open Access Archive, are selected and placed in dialogue with the artist’s photographs. Together, they form a visual contrast that invites reflection rather than resolution.
This is the second part of the Awareness of Contrast book trilogy:
Do Not Believe Everything – Formless Violence – Illustrative Images
